Sketchio is based on the Timeway engine and allows you to make animations with code much like
Sketchiepad, but provides a lot more tools to make it super easy; the timeline bar at the bottom,
draggable and resizable sprites, a simple UI, and a render button to export an MP4 or GIF.

...and then access the automation in your code!

But first, a little backstory...
Enter Sketchio, the successor to Sketchiepad.
So something else that happened in 2024 was the beginning of my new project, Sketchio.
I like to make animations with Processing code, and historically, I used another project called
"Sketchiepad", which was basically just some code to automate image loading, moving sprites around,
saving frames, etc
This code helped me to earn over £300 through animation commissions.

However, there were a lot of problems with it and it was barely a program, so for the longest time
I wanted to make an actual animation program where I could make my own animations.
Sketchiepad example, showing a frame-by-frame aniamtion which changes color
Control the values of the automation overtime in the animation...
There's no release of Sketchio yet, and I want to make some more example animations to show off what
Sketchio is capable of. There's still a lot of work to be done, but I hope it can be a useful animation
program to artists/programmers!

I'd also like it to be useful without programming, so that any artist can use it.
We'll see how far this project gets!

I will release some animations that I have made with Sketchio on my blog soon.

There's also loads of features to make animating easier, such as the automation bars!
These can be accessed in the code to control colour, movement and scale of sprites, or anything you want!
