- New realm terrain system; realms can be customised with the warper tool.
- Water and swimming added.
- Android builds released (no modern Android build as of now, but I'll get back to it!)
- New file search prompt.
- New editor features like a movable text cursor and infinite scrolling.
- More file tools such as renaming files and recycling.
- More files display in the Pixel Realm such as PDF files and music files.
- Timeway's API, TWIT (TimeWay Interfacing Toolkit) added for custom code in realms.
- Added credits
- Loads and loads of performance improvements and optimisations!
0.1.6- Rework Pixel Realm object rendering; the object rendering code is still very inefficient
and I would like to rewrite it. The new rendering will use a unified shader and no more
immediate mode rendering.

0.1.7- Inventory; store your files in your inventory.

0.1.8- Paint program; an internal paint program for creating Pixel Realm files or for modifying
any PNG file.

0.1.9- Not sure... so many possibilities. Undo/redo history, terrain system 3.0, actual Android port,
purge setting for resetting/uninstalling Timeway, improved tutorial, gardener tool...
Timeway- loads of updates

My favourite part of this update is how a Pixel Realm preview fades in when the Pixel Realm
settings are being modified... so satisfying...
There's still loads more I want to add to Timeway. At its current state, I'd still consider it an incomplete
project. Until I have crossed off a long list of items to add, I think that'll be me ready to call it
Timeway 1.0.0. But it's still a long way until that point. Nevertheless, here's my plans for the next upcoming
versions:
I've also been getting ideas for a multiplayer mode in Timeway; I've always had the idea of bringing
Timeway to be more than a file explorer and more of a "create whatever you want" world, and the idea
of allowing people to build worlds together really excites me... maybe one day I could look into it and
see if multiplayer Timeway is any fun...
However, it has just occured to me that my last post about Timeway was from all the way back in December
2023. Now it is May 2025, and many, many new things have been added since then. So much that I can't
possibly cover everything in one blog post. But I'll list out the biggest changes best I can:
That's it for now, but I have loads more to talk about later. Especially:
- My final year at university and my 4th year project.
- My new Surface Laptop Studio 2
- Sketchio animations
- More Timeway stuff.
I have just released Timeway 1.5, which adds a new settings menu at long last.
No more fiddling with the config.json file!
